Win Cool Prizes On The Tumblr Photojojo Daily PicPick Photo Contest

The cool peeps at Tumblr and the even cooler peeps at Photojojo have put together a Daily Photo Contest on Photojojo.com.

The contest runs through July 2010, with a new topic to photograph and a new prize everyday!

Tumblr Photojojo Daily Pic Pick Contest – How it works

1. Head over to this page and see what the Daily Pic Pick Topic is.
2. For example, today is July 1st and the topic is “beginnings“.
3. Next, post an “original photo” related to the topic of the day on your tumblog.
4. Tag the tumblr photo post with the phrase “pic pick” (without the quotes)
5. Your photo will automatically appear on the Recent Submissions on the PhotoDojo contest page.
6. At the end of the day (not sure how they calculate it), the Curator will pick a photo from the tagged submissions and award the prize for that day to the winner!

I think this is a great way for Photojojo to get it’s name and products out there. It also encourages tumbloggers to post more on their tumblr blogs which is a win for both the blogger and the peeps at tumblr.

For my part, I will be submitting photos as and when I can. I will also give props to the daily winners!
